and now RECOVERY

The Bastrop County Long Term Disaster Recovery (LTR) Meeting at noon, Tuesday, September 27  was a first step toward forming a multi-year plan for individual and family recovery in Bastrop County.  Disaster of this magnitude does not heal quickly; effects will be felt for many years.  But a good, sustainable, community-led long term recovery plan will ensure those lasting effects include positive outcomes.

The second LTR meeting is scheduled noon, Tuesday, October 4th at the Calvary Baptist Church, 3001 Loop 150 E, Bastrop (details)

LTR meetings invites Bastrop area non-profit, faith-based and civic organizations to join city, county, state agencies and FEMA in planning discussions.  The goal is to provide information and build commitment to Long Term Recovery from community organizations through communication, cooperation, coordination and collaboration.

This BastropRelief.org/recovery section will work to present information and resources for Long Term Recovery as they are developed.
